Minutes
Present: Shawn Mullen, Rich Norkun, John Wright, Deb Mckinney, Dick Edmonds , Tim Adams, Dan Roy
Call to Order: Rich Norkun called the meeting to order.
Approval of the minutes of the September1, 2015 Regular Meeting:
John Wright motioned to approve the minutes. Deb Mckinney seconded all approved.
Audience of Citizens: None
Communications: Shawn Mullen distributed a document outlining the Sears Park sticker sales from the season.
Unfinished Business
The new signs have been posted in the park.
The special revenue fund was discussed and questions were answered.
New Business
The Air Line Trial Ghost Run is Saturday, there are currently 275 registered runners we are expecting a turnout close to 400 runners.
- Fall and Winter Programs and budgets
Shawn Mullen outlined the fall and winter programs and the budgets for them.
Shawn Mullen and Rich Norkun updated the board on the status of the Parks and Recreation Department and current open positions.
- Rowing Club Sears Park use
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Shawn Mullen will be creating a contract for the use of the Park for the Rowing Clubs and a list of guidelines that will need to be adhered to for this program to continue to operate in the spring.
